National Trainer/CEO TES Academics

I have spent many years as a classroom teacher contributing to the social and academic development of children. During those years, I have successfully improved educators’ understanding of “how children learn”.

Currently, I am a college professor who empowers prospective teachers to positively impact the lives of our young children, and as a national trainer I am ready to enhance teachers’ classroom management skills. I enjoy sharing “My Favorite Five Classroom Management Strategies”: Remain Calm, Diffusers, Refocus, Unconditional Positive Regards, and Teach-To’s. Please note, the Teach-To’s are lesson plans for teaching students how to manage their behaviors. The administrators and educators are surprised to find out that all of these essential components can be implemented immediately and that the strategies really work.

During my spare time, you may find me traveling around the world with my husband, having adventures with my two and four year old grandchildren, laughing about life with my five children, or just outside playing double dutch, hopscotch, or hula hoop with my 40+ Double Dutch Group. With great effort and work Sharon deserve to play. I believe and say that, “Work without play… no way!”
